By accessing or using QueryLens ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

QueryLens provides SQL query analysis, explanation, optimization recommendations, and visualization tools for data teams. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Submit malicious queries or content
  • Reverse engineer any aspect of the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by QueryLens and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any SQL queries or content you submit. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your queries for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Payment Terms

For paid subscriptions:

  • Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice
  • You are responsible for applicable taxes

8. Free Trial

We may offer free trials. At the end of the trial, you will be charged unless you cancel before the trial ends.

9. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access until then.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QueryLens shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless QueryLens from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
